The late Rex Crockett and his wife, Helen, want to express their gratitude to the people of the Dexter family by awarding a scholarship to a son or daughter of a full-time Dexter employee. Rex firmly believed that Dexter’s success is a story of people. To honor that truth, this full-ride scholarship was created for a single recipient and is to be awarded in 2025.
Applications for the scholarship are available from Dexter Human Resources beginning February 12 with a deadline April 12th.
This scholarship is $25,000 per year, not exceeding four (4) years for Post High School education. It is to be used toward school tuition, class textbooks/technology, and university room and board. The student may attend university, community, trade or technical school. The student must maintain a 2.5 GPA.
The funds will be paid directly to the recipient’s institution of choice and will be available in 2025. The Greater Jefferson County Foundation is honored to be the administrator of the Rex Crockett Memorial Scholarship.
