Pete & Fern Crafton Scholarship

The Craftons lived all their lives in Fairfield and Jefferson County.
Fern worked at the Louden Machinery Company and as a homemaker, being raised on a farm in the Glasgow community of Jefferson County. Pete worked 51 years at Fairfield Line. This scholarship is for a graduating senior attending a university, college, community college or technical school located outside Jefferson County and based on financial need. The attitude and motivation of the student and the ability for them to achieve success in their chosen field of advanced education is the criteria for this scholarship.

The amount and number of awards of this scholarship is determined annually.

The Crafton Fund also funds scholarships for PAST FHS graduates, based on the same criteria and documentation. The amount and number of these awards also vary from year to year. Proof of graduation from FHS is required (diploma or transcript) as well as other listed documentation.
