Edd & Darlene Felgar were married 56 years, all of which was spent on their farm east of Fairfield. The Fairfield community was everything to the Felgars. Darlene was a member of the Fairfield Women’s Club and the Garden Dept, Jefferson County Auziliary, and the Red Hat Ladies.
Edd was in Jefferson County Law Enforcement and was nicknamed ‘Fast Eddie’. He was a member of the Lions Club and received the honor of ‘Lion of the Year’ in 2013.
The Edd and Darlene Felgar Memorial Healthcare Scholarship will be awarded to up to three qualifying students in the FHS or Pekin Senior class.
